Frequently Asked Questions
How do affiliates receive payments in their currency?
Automatic payouts are sent in the currency the commission was earned in, and settle in GBP, US dollars or euros. Stripe converts to the affiliate’s own currency on deposit, using local payment methods such as ACH, SEPA and Faster Payments. What are the currency conversion fees?
LinkJolt charges 0% on FX. When an affiliate's payout currency differs from a commission's transaction currency, Stripe applies its own conversion fee during settlement, around 2%, which is still well below typical bank wire conversion fees of 3-5%. Do I need my own Stripe account to send payouts?
No. Automated payouts are funded from your saved payment card, and each affiliate connects their own Stripe Express account to receive the transfer. LinkJolt never holds the money at any point. Read more about Stripe Connect affiliate payouts.
Can I pay all affiliates at once globally?
Yes. Bulk payouts run in parallel and group by currency automatically. LinkJolt and Stripe handle routing payments through each affiliate's local payment method.
How long do international payouts take?
Local transfers (ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments) typically take 1-3 days. Much faster than traditional international wires which take 5-10 business days.
Which countries get automatic payouts?
Automatic Stripe payouts reach affiliates in the UK, US, Canada, Switzerland and most of Europe. Stripe does not permit platform payouts outside those regions, so affiliates elsewhere are paid by CSV export to PayPal or Wise, which reaches everywhere. Commissions transfer in the currency they were earned in and Stripe converts on settlement for around 2%.
