How does LinkJolt process affiliate payments?
LinkJolt offers two payment methods: (1) Automated payouts via Stripe Connect - when affiliates connect their Stripe account, you can process payments directly through Stripe with one click. (2) Manual processing - download a CSV of pending commissions and process payments externally via PayPal, Wise, or your preferred method. All payments are tracked in LinkJolt regardless of the method used. Note: You accept customer payments via Stripe or Paddle, but affiliate payouts are separate.
Do I need a Stripe account to pay affiliates?
A Stripe account is required if you want to use automated Stripe Connect payouts. However, you can also pay affiliates manually by downloading a CSV export and processing payments through PayPal, Wise, or any other method you prefer. When using manual payments, you simply mark the commissions as paid in LinkJolt after processing them externally.
How can affiliates receive their payments?
Affiliates have two options: (1) Connect their Stripe account to receive automated direct deposits via Stripe Connect. (2) Receive manual payments from merchants through PayPal, Wise, or other methods. Affiliates can view their complete payment history, pending commissions, and payment status in their affiliate portal regardless of payment method.
How does LinkJolt handle recurring commissions for subscriptions?
LinkJolt automatically tracks recurring commissions for subscription products. Each time a customer's subscription renews (via Stripe or Paddle), the commission is automatically calculated and added to the affiliate's pending balance. You can set recurring commissions to continue indefinitely or for a specific number of billing cycles. Payouts can be processed automatically via Stripe Connect or manually.
Can I customize commission rates for different affiliates?
Yes, LinkJolt allows you to set custom commission rates for different affiliates or affiliate groups. You can create multiple campaigns with different commission structures and assign affiliates to specific campaigns based on their performance or relationship with your business.
