What is affiliate management software?
Affiliate management software runs the working relationship with your affiliates: recruiting and approving them, giving each one tracking links and coupon codes, calculating commissions on every sale and renewal, and paying what is owed. It sits on top of your existing billing system rather than replacing it.
How is it different from affiliate tracking software?
Tracking software answers one question: which affiliate sent this customer. Management software adds everything you do with that answer, including approvals, commission rules, the affiliate portal, fraud checks and payouts. LinkJolt covers both, so most merchants need one tool rather than two.
What commission rate should I offer affiliates?
The median SaaS affiliate commission is 20% of the sale, based on 121 real campaigns tracked on LinkJolt (September 2026 snapshot). The 20 to 25% band is the most common choice, and 26% of programs also pay commission on renewals, which is the strongest recruiting argument you have.
How do I invite affiliates to my program?
You can invite affiliates by email one at a time, paste a list to invite in bulk, or share your branded signup page. You can also list your program on the Discovery marketplace so affiliates find you, or import an existing roster from Tolt, Rewardful, FirstPromoter or Affonso.
Can I automatically approve affiliate applications?
Yes. You can enable auto-approve on any campaign, and approved affiliates can start promoting straight away. Leave it off and every application waits for your review in the dashboard.
How do I track individual affiliate performance?
Each affiliate has a profile showing their clicks, conversions, revenue generated, and pending and paid commissions, with the date of their last click and where their traffic came from. You can filter by date range and compare affiliates against each other.
What payout methods are supported?
Automated payouts run through Stripe Connect to affiliates in the US, UK, EEA, Canada and Switzerland, charged to your saved card and transferred straight to each affiliate. For affiliates elsewhere, export a mass-payout CSV for PayPal or Wise.
Can I create multiple campaigns?
Yes. Professional, Ultimate and Scale include unlimited campaigns, each with its own commission rate, cookie duration and affiliate list. The Starter plan covers a single campaign and up to 10 affiliates.
