Gumroad has its own built-in affiliate feature, which works and costs nothing, but it keeps you inside Gumroad: affiliates are managed there, commissions are flat percentages, and there is no portal you control. In LinkJolt open Settings, then Payment Providers, and add a Gumroad webhook secret. There is a generator if you want one. Then copy the Ping URL shown there.
In Gumroad go to Settings, then Advanced, find the Ping section, paste the URL into the Ping endpoint field and click Update Settings.

Yes. Gumroad includes a built-in affiliate feature at no cost, and it works well for simple percentage commissions managed inside Gumroad. LinkJolt runs alongside it through Gumroad's Ping, adding a branded affiliate portal, recurring commissions on memberships, coupon-code attribution, fraud checks and automated payouts.
Through Gumroad's Ping. You paste one Ping URL into Gumroad under Settings and Advanced, and Gumroad notifies LinkJolt of every sale automatically. There are no events to select, and because the sale is confirmed server-side, ad blockers and cleared cookies cannot lose it.
The token is derived from the Gumroad secret you create in LinkJolt, and it is how we verify a ping genuinely came from your store. Pings that arrive without it are rejected, so copy the full URL from Settings and Payment Providers rather than typing it by hand.

Yes. Recurring commissions are configurable per campaign, so the original affiliate can be paid on membership renewals as well as the first sale, with a cap by number of months or number of payments if you want one.
