Tolt Pricing 2026: Plans, Payout Fees and the Costs Off the Pricing Page

Back to all posts

Tolt costs $69, $99 or $199 a month, billed monthly, with each tier capped by how much revenue your affiliates generate: $10,000 a month on Basic, $20,000 on Growth and $50,000 on Pro. Above that you talk to sales. There is no annual plan and no annual discount, which is unusual in this category.

The number most buyers miss is the second one. Tolt advertises 0% commission on tracked revenue, and that is true. But automated payouts carry a 2% processing fee, and funding those payouts costs another $8 per bank transfer or 4% by card. Those last two are documented in the help centre rather than on the pricing page. All figures below were read from Tolt's own live pages on 1 September 2026.

Tolt pricing at a glance

Plan Price Affiliate revenue allowance Payouts
Basic $69/mo Up to $10,000/mo Manual only
Growth $99/mo Up to $20,000/mo Automated, 2% fee
Pro $199/mo Up to $50,000/mo Automated, 2% fee
Enterprise Contact sales $50,001+/mo Automated, 2% fee
Every tier includes unlimited affiliates and unlimited referrals. The metering dimension is revenue, not headcount, which is the right model for most SaaS programs: you pay more only when the channel pays you more.

Tier limits beyond revenue:

Basic Growth Pro
Programs 2 5 Unlimited
Partner groups 3 5 Unlimited
Team members 3 5 Unlimited
Commission flows 3 5 Unlimited

The three fees, and where each one is documented

This is where a Tolt quote differs from the sticker price.

1. The 2% payout processing fee. Published on the pricing page, as a feature bullet under Growth and above: "Auto payouts (fast global payouts with 2% processing fee)". So automation itself costs 2% of what you pay out.

2. An $8 fee per bank transfer. From Tolt's help centre: "A fixed $8 processing fee applies to each bank transfer payment." This is how you fund the payout invoice, and it is not mentioned on the pricing page.

3. A 4% fee on card payments. Same help article: "A 4% processing fee applies to card payments." Also absent from the pricing page.

These stack. A Growth customer paying affiliates by card pays $99 for the subscription, plus 2% of the payout total, plus 4% of the invoice value. Paying by bank transfer instead swaps that 4% for a flat $8, which is much cheaper at any real volume.

None of this makes Tolt expensive by category standards, and their "0% commission" claim is honest on its own terms: they take nothing from tracked revenue. It just means the pricing page is not the whole cost, and the parts in the help centre are the parts that scale with your program.

What each upgrade actually buys

Basic to Growth ($69 to $99) is bought for automated payouts. Basic is manual only: you pay affiliates yourself. Growth unlocks automated payouts across PayPal, Wise, local bank and wire, affiliate invoices, and collection of W-9 and W-8 forms with 1099 filing. If you run a US program, note that tax compliance sits at Growth, not Basic.

Growth to Pro ($99 to $199) is bought largely to remove Tolt's branding from your affiliate portal, plus unlimited programs, partner groups, seats and commission flows, custom payout methods and a dedicated Slack channel. Both Basic and Growth carry a "powered by Tolt" link.

Pro to Enterprise lifts the $50,000 revenue ceiling and adds priority support.

How Tolt moves the money

Worth understanding before you commit, because it determines who your affiliates are actually paid by.

Tolt generates a draft invoice five days before your scheduled payout date. You have that window to review it; if you do not confirm it manually, Tolt confirms it automatically on the payout date. You fund the invoice by bank transfer or card, and Tolt then pays your affiliates.

Their terms of service are explicit that this is a pass-through with custody in the middle: "Payment by a Merchant to Tolt for approved commissions constitutes payment to the Affiliate, and the Merchant's obligation to the Affiliate is satisfied upon such payment." Tolt describes itself as a "limited authorized agent" facilitating collection and remittance, and states it "does not guarantee payment of commissions unless and until the Merchant has funded the applicable invoice".

That is a perfectly normal arrangement and it is what lets Tolt handle global rails and tax forms on your behalf. It is simply different from a model where funds never leave your own account, and it is the thing to check if your finance team cares who is the payer of record.

Payout schedules are NET-15, NET-30, NET-60 or a custom date. Affiliates must complete tax information and add a valid payout method before they can be included in an invoice, and you can set a minimum payout threshold, or set it to zero to pay regardless of amount.

One caveat on rails: the pricing page lists crypto among the automated payout methods, but the help centre says partners using auto payouts "can select any payout method supported by Tolt, except crypto payments", and the payments page lists Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDC as coming soon. Treat crypto as manual-only for now.

What Tolt integrates with

Stripe (subscriptions, checkouts, payment links, pricing tables and buy buttons), Paddle (both Billing and Classic), and Chargebee. Plus webhooks and an MCP connector for Claude and ChatGPT.

Their pricing-page FAQ still says you "can only integrate Tolt if your SaaS/app is using either Stripe or Paddle", but that answer is stale: Chargebee has a full setup guide and its own landing page. There is no Shopify, Lemon Squeezy or Gumroad support.

Trial and refund

Tolt offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, and a published 30-day refund policy: "if either affiliate marketing or Tolt is not the right fit for your SaaS, then you can request a full refund within 30 days, no questions asked." That is one of the more generous risk-reversal combinations in the category, and it is worth using.

Is Tolt worth it?

For a funded startup that expects to pass $10,000 a month in affiliate revenue quickly, Tolt's allowances are genuinely generous and the affiliate-facing portal is among the best-looking in the category. The 14-day no-card trial and 30-day refund make it cheap to find out.

It is a harder sell if you are cost-sensitive at the start. $69 is the highest entry price among the SaaS-focused tools, it buys manual payouts only, and reaching automation means $99 plus 2% plus a funding fee. If your first affiliate program is an experiment rather than a committed channel, the maths is unforgiving at the bottom.

How it compares on entry pricing (each vendor's own published figures, 2026):

Tool Entry price Entry allowance Payout automation
LinkJolt $19.99/mo $5,000/mo tracked sales Included, no percentage fee
Affonso $19/mo $1,000/mo Managed payouts carry a surcharge
PromoteKit $29/mo 3 free referrals, then unlimited Export CSV and pay yourself
Rewardful $49/mo $7,500/mo Managed payouts at 3%
FirstPromoter $49/mo $5,000/mo Manual batches
Tolt $69/mo $10,000/mo From $99/mo, 2% fee
Full disclosure: we build LinkJolt, which is why it is in that table. Our automated payouts are charged to your saved card and transferred straight to each affiliate, so no balance sits with us and there is no percentage on the payout. Tolt's allowance at the entry tier is twice ours, so if you are already doing $10,000 a month through affiliates, price both properly rather than taking our word for it.

If you are weighing the whole category, the best affiliate marketing platforms comparison covers twelve tools with verified pricing, and the Tolt alternatives page compares the five closest options side by side. Before you set commission rates on any of them, the SaaS affiliate benchmarks show what 116 real campaigns actually pay.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Tolt cost?

Tolt is $69 a month for Basic, $99 for Growth and $199 for Pro, billed monthly with no annual option. Each tier is capped by affiliate-generated revenue: $10,000, $20,000 and $50,000 a month. Above $50,001 a month you contact sales.

Does Tolt charge transaction fees?

Tolt takes 0% of your tracked affiliate revenue. Automated payouts carry a 2% processing fee from the Growth plan up, and funding those payouts costs a further $8 per bank transfer or 4% by card. The 2% is on the pricing page; the $8 and 4% are documented in the help centre.

Does Tolt have an annual plan?

No. Tolt publishes monthly pricing only, with no annual billing option and no annual discount on its pricing page.

Does Tolt hold your money?

Yes, in transit. Tolt invoices you for approved commissions, you fund the invoice, and Tolt pays your affiliates. Their terms state that payment by a merchant to Tolt satisfies the merchant’s obligation to the affiliate, and that Tolt does not guarantee commissions until the merchant has funded the invoice.

What does Tolt integrate with?

Stripe, Paddle and Chargebee, plus webhooks and an MCP connector. There is no Shopify, Lemon Squeezy or Gumroad support. Note their pricing FAQ still says Stripe or Paddle only, which is out of date because Chargebee has a full setup guide.
