You are helping integrate LinkJolt affiliate tracking into a Webflow site.

## Context
- Merchant ID: YOUR_MERCHANT_ID
- Platform: Webflow (CMS / Standard sites). Webflow Ecommerce native checkout is NOT supported — use Stripe Payment Links instead.
- Required: paid Webflow site plan (free plan allows Head Code but no custom domain).

## Step 1 — Install tracking script site-wide

Webflow Dashboard → Project Settings → Custom Code → **Head Code**:
```html
<script src="https://www.linkjolt.io/api/tracking.js?id=YOUR_MERCHANT_ID" async></script>
```

Publish the site for the change to go live (Preview doesn't execute custom code).

## Step 2 — Use Stripe Payment Links as buy buttons

Add Stripe Payment Links (`buy.stripe.com/...`) as regular link elements in Webflow. LinkJolt's tracking script auto-appends `client_reference_id` on page load and keeps watching the DOM for dynamically added links.

## Step 3 — Configure Stripe webhook

1. https://dashboard.stripe.com/webhooks → Add endpoint
2. URL: `https://www.linkjolt.io/api/webhooks/stripe/merchant/YOUR_MERCHANT_ID`
3. Event: `checkout.session.completed`
4. Save Signing Secret in LinkJolt → Settings → Payment Providers (provider: stripe).

## Why not Webflow Ecommerce?

Webflow Ecomm's native checkout doesn't expose hooks for passing `client_reference_id` to the underlying Stripe call, so attribution breaks. Stripe Payment Links bypass Webflow's checkout entirely and are the supported path.

## Common issues

- "Script doesn't load on published site" → the merchant added code to an individual page's Custom Code instead of Project Settings → Custom Code. Page-level code only loads on that page.
- "Character limit hit" → Webflow has 50,000 chars per Head/Body section. Single tracking script is well under.
