You are helping integrate LinkJolt affiliate tracking into a Carrd single-page site.

## Context
- Merchant ID: YOUR_MERCHANT_ID
- Platform: Carrd (uses Stripe Payment Links for checkout — Carrd has no native checkout)
- Required plan: Carrd Pro Standard ($19/yr) or higher (Free plan doesn't support custom code embeds).

## Step 1 — Install the tracking script via Hidden Embed

In the Carrd editor:
1. Add an **Embed** element.
2. Set type to **Code** and style to **Hidden**.
3. Set location to **Head** (not Body Top / Body End).
4. Paste:

## Step 2 — Use Stripe Payment Links as buy buttons

LinkJolt's script automatically appends `?client_reference_id=tc_X_aff_Y_cid_Z` to any `buy.stripe.com/...` URL on the page. No extra code needed.

## Step 3 — Configure Stripe webhook

1. https://dashboard.stripe.com/webhooks → Add endpoint
2. URL: `https://www.linkjolt.io/api/webhooks/stripe/merchant/YOUR_MERCHANT_ID`
3. Event: `checkout.session.completed`
4. Save the Signing Secret (`whsec_*`) in LinkJolt → Settings → Payment Providers (provider: stripe).

## Common issues

- "Script doesn't load" → Embed style was set to Inline (visible) or location was Body End. Head + Hidden is the correct combination.
- "Payment link opens without tracking" → the script must be in the Head embed, not a Body embed (otherwise the race between DOMContentLoaded and link-click might skip enhancement).
